Are you a visionary and experienced leader ready to take charge of a diverse portfolio of physical assets? We’re seeking a Group Director in Housing and Assets to lead and transform the Council’s housing, commercial, community, and land holdings. In this influential role, you’ll oversee the development of integrated asset programmes that focus on operational efficiency, legal compliance, and meeting the needs of our communities.

THE VACANCY
Group Director – Housing & Assets
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £155,000 per annum plus benefits
Location: Dudley
Take the overall lead in relation to Council physical assets – housing, corporate/ commercial/community and land holdings.
Drive the transformation of our assets and build programmes underpinned by a single integrated corporate landlord function which is focussed on efficiency of operations, legal compliance, the needs of our communities and maximising the return on investment to the Borough.
Ensure that Dudley’s Housing stock is well maintained, compliant with regulations, and responsive to the needs of tenants whilst also driving forwards strategies to tackle homelessness and improve the quality of housing across the Borough.
